Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival Together at Seprays & Genitec

Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is one tradition we never want to miss at Seprays & Genitec: making mooncakes together.

We have kept this tradition for many years. It is a simple activity, but it has become one of the moments our team looks forward to every year.

This year, the mooncake ingredients were prepared by Guangzhou Restaurant, with a variety of flavors including custard, chestnut, mixed nuts, lotus seed paste with salted egg yolk, and even Dove chocolate.

And then there was one particularly unusual flavor: preserved egg mooncakes.

Before we even started, the discussion had already begun.

“Which flavor will be the best?”

“Who is brave enough to try the preserved egg one first?”

The room quickly filled with laughter.

🥮 Everyone Becomes a Mooncake Maker

Once we started making the mooncakes, everyone became surprisingly focused.

Some colleagues were already experienced at wrapping the fillings, producing beautifully shaped mooncakes one after another.

For those making mooncakes for the first time, things were a little different.

Some came out slightly uneven after being removed from the mold. Others had a little filling showing through.

But somehow, when you make something yourself, it always looks pretty good.

After a busy and enjoyable session, trays of freshly made mooncakes were finally ready.

Some people took photos.

Some started packing them.

And everyone prepared to take their handmade mooncakes home to share with their families.

🍎 A Little More for the Journey Home

Mooncakes were not the only Mid-Autumn gift this year.

To celebrate the festival, Seprays & Genitec also prepared two boxes of fruit for each employee: domestic Mini apples and Cuiyu crystal sugar pears.

It is not a particularly elaborate celebration, and that is exactly what makes it meaningful.

We wanted everyone to have a little something extra to take home for the holiday—a small gesture of appreciation and a reminder that the work we do together is also about the people around us.
